Les règles du jeu

Aux échecs, deux joueurs s’affrontent sur un échiquier de 64 cases.
Chacun commence avec 16 pièces, blanches pour l’un, noires pour l’autre, et les déplace à tour de rôle selon des règles propres à chaque pièce.
On appelle simplement les deux camps les Blancs et les Noirs.
